What is Vion Chat?+
A communication app for chats, groups, channels, file sharing and voice messages. An independent environment can be set up on a dedicated server for a community or organization.
Do I need to register to browse the website?+
This informational website has no accounts or registration page. Chatting in the app requires joining an environment and creating an account according to its operator's settings.
What does an independent server mean?+
It means deploying a dedicated instance of Vion Chat with its own database and administration settings. Hosting location, maintenance, backups and responsibility for data access are set out in the agreement.
Are prices and specifications fixed?+
No. The proposal depends on active members, file volumes, storage, backups and support level. The options shown help define your requirements; they are not ready-to-purchase subscriptions.
Are conversations end-to-end encrypted?+
We do not claim that the current version provides end-to-end encryption. Hosting data in an independent environment does not automatically mean the server operator cannot access it. Review the policy of the environment you use.
How do I prepare a request for my environment?+
Choose a server option and describe your requirements to create a summary you can copy or download. Send it to the Vion Chat team through your agreed contact channel. Creating a summary does not send a request or provision a server.
